Siemens PLM, Planview sign OEM partnership

To help customers deliver enhanced products in competitive markets

Planview has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnership agreement with Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation division, to integrate Planview Enterprise portfolio management software into Siemens PLM Software's Teamcenter software solution.

The integration would combine top-down planning and bottom-up programme execution to streamline operational activities. These organisations claim to work together to further their customers' abilities to link bottom-up programme and project execution with strategic product portfolio decisions; to plan capacity and manage resources to ensure execution that meets time to market requirements; and to evaluate the business impact of market trends, competitive pressures and other change drivers before making decisions on the product portfolio and projects in flight.
