CBR Staff Writer Published 14 November 2012

The new release will turn insight into action and engage with customers one-to-one, in context and in real time, SAP says

SAP has introduced a new 360 Customer application, which is powered by the SAP HANA platform, that is claimed to harness the power of in-memory computing, cloud, enterprise mobility and collaboration.

The company said the new customer application will turn insight into action and engage with customers one-to-one, in context and in real time.

By empowering the mobile workforce, fostering collaboration, executing transactions faster and providing better response times, the new release is said to enable organisations to create an enhanced customer experience while driving operational excellence.

With the new release, organisations will gain customer insights, understand customer needs and preferences and predict future behavior and can access large amounts of data in shorter periods of time, SAP said.

SAP's new release will enable companies to leverage just-in-time customer insight to deliver one-to-one interactions through any channel and provide customers with personalised applications that will accurately reflect the specific customer needs and wants.

In addition, companies can now instantly carry out end-to-end customer processes beyond the front office and can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of every customer process.

SAP 360 Customer includes SAP CRM application powered by SAP HANA and cloud-based applications such as the SAP Customer OnDemand, the SAP Jam social software platform and several mobile applications.
