Gorman-Rupp selects Ultimate Software for human capital management

Gorman-Rupp Company, a manufacturer and seller of pumps and related equipment, has selected Ultimate Software's UltiPro for HR and payroll management, along with recruitment, performance management, learning management, and time and attendance, delivered through software-as-a-service.

With labor information scattered in many places, to produce workforce business intelligence was through manual consolidation of data - taking time and resources away from other strategic projects. In August 2008, a selection committee chose Ultimate Software's UltiPro to achieve efficiencies and business value with one comprehensive human capital management system, said Ultimate Software.

Gorman-Rupp's IT team is responsible for maintaining the hardware and software for the company's current systems. The frequent tax and regulatory updates for the existing payroll software cause a burden for the team. UltiPro will alleviate the IT team's system maintenance and upgrade worries, because Ultimate Software manages all of those IT responsibilities for its software-as-a-service customers, added Ultimate Software.
