Integrates EFT Server offerings with infrastructure from Rackspace Hosting
GlobalSCAPE, a developer of secure information exchange solutions, has launched new cloud-based managed file transfer (MFT) service, GlobalSCAPE Managed Information Xchange, that integrates GlobalSCAPE's Enhanced File Transfer Server (EFT Server) offering with infrastructure from Rackspace Hosting, a provider of hosting and cloud computing services.
The company said that in partnership with Rackspace, Managed Information Xchange service is the initial offerings available as part of the new GlobalSCAPE Managed Solutions suite.
According to GlobalSCAPE, the new tiered service will allow customers to outsource all or part of their complex and demanding information exchange needs to reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies, track and audit transactions, and provide security.
The company said that the GlobalSCAPE Managed Information Xchange offering features 'Pay as you go,' flexible pricing that helps customers eliminate upfront capital expenditures; and reduced ongoing maintenance expenses, including hardware, software, personnel, utility services, and backup costs.
In addition, Managed Information Xchange also features easy and rapid deployment with scalable processing and storage capabilities.
