BlueCat, immixGroup to provide IPAM services to US government customers

CBR Staff Writer Published 30 January 2009

immixGroup, a provider of enterprise technology products and services, has joined forces with BlueCat Networks to simplify the procurement process for government customers looking to obtain BlueCat's IP address management platforms and secure domain name system/dynamic host configuration protocol network administration appliances.

This agreement provides government customers and channel partners access to BlueCat's Proteus, IP address management (IPAM) platforms and Adonis family of domain name system/dynamic host configuration protocol (DNS/DHCP) appliances through federal and state government contracts vehicles; initially through immixGroup's NASA SEWP IV and Maryland State Hardware Master contracts.

immixGroup will support BlueCat and its channel partners by providing access to immixGroup's government contract vehicles and delivering demand generation, market intelligence, marketing, inside sales, deal structure, closing, and maintenance renewal support services.

In addition, immixGroup will provide BlueCat with independent monitoring and detailed, expert analysis of the discrete sales activities performed by its government channel partners in order to reward the partners providing the value, and to ensure product procurement compliance.

Art Richer, president of immixGroup, said: We are very excited to work with BlueCat to support their aggressive government market expansion strategy. immixGroup's public sector technology sales and channel management experience, along with our deep contracts and procurement expertise, provide BlueCat with a solid foundation upon which to base their overarching public sector strategy.
